La Iguana is an amazingly beautiful golf course in Costa Rica. One of the most amazing things about La Iguana Golf Course is the fact that they train people how to play golf. Whether you are an experienced hand or are just starting out in the game, you can attend lessons at the La Iguana Golf Academy. The lessons range from Pre-shot, in-swing, Chipping, Bunker Play to playing physiology and how disabled people can play the game like pros. If you are adept enough, you can get into the program as a novice and leave a pro.

The course is situated about 60 miles South-west of the San Jose Airport. The airport has a shuttle service for the guests that costs US$100 for a one way trip. There are also taxis that charge about US$100 for a one way trip. You can also use a bus from a bus station called Jaco City. The buses pass through the golf course route.

For professional Championships or tournaments, the La Iguana Golf Course offers its members and visitors services such as rule sheets, personalized carts, score boards, announcements, food and beverages and many more.
